abstract

The book publication is a design of a new social mind-matter-morality model in the framework of interaction between things and between persons. The set up takes place in the context of finality (goal) as well as causality (cause-effect) between stimulus-need, norm-value and cognition-perception. The model is sustained by theories and experiments in physics, biology and psychology. Several existential topics are under discussion as for example God, free will, creationism-evolutionism, subject-object relation, moral relativity, etc. The descriptive mind and matter model is the basis for a normative model of mind and morality. With the aid of an extensive family case study and figures, the book can be used and is taught for several courses, an issue that concerns all of us.

conferences

The model of mind and matter is poster and orally presented on the conferences: Dynamic Ontology (Trento, 2004), Consciousness and Experiencing Psychology (Oxford, 2005), Models of Brain and Mind: Physical, Computational and Psychological Approaches (Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, 2006) and Quantum Mind (Salzburg, 2007).
